Thank you for the outstanding job that you and your team did on the recent renovation of our kitchen, laundry room and lower level snack bar. Our project was completed in what I would say was record time and within the budget we established. What is even more amazing, is that it was all done while we were in Florida for the winter.
Chuck Keefer is exceptional! As our project manager he was flawless at coordinating the schedule of events and then keeping us updated. He even regularly sent us digital pictures as the project progressed! That was a very nice touch. Additionally, we trusted that our home was in very good hands while we were away.
Your subcontractor team is the best I have ever worked with. Jerry Sauer from Studio North is a true craftsman. And what energy. He makes anything seem possible. We absolutely love our cabinetry. The entertainment cabinet in the lower level is so innovative. l am sure others clients will request something similar. Brian, Randy, Joel and the others also put their special touch on our project.
We always hear about the horror stories of renovation. Thank you for making ours a very pleasant experience. Patrick Widing Custom Built homes would be our choice if we ever built another home!

It is with pleasure that we share our experience renovating our home with Patrick Widing Custom Homes. Patrick Widing Custom Homes came highly recommended by friends who had used Patrick Widing Custom Home builders to renovate their kitchen.
We were searching for a quality focused builder who understood the vision we had for our new home. Since we would be remote in New York for most of the build process trust and communication were priorities in our selection as well. We needed to be confident that all our dealings, with the curves that are thrown in a home building experience, would be fair and equitable for both parties.
Although not the lowest bid we received, as is true with the old adage, “you get what you pay for,” we have been blessed with a great team, who take pride in workmanship and quality, building our home. We are currently midway through our build process and are very pleased. Patrick, his team and subcontractors are exceeding expectations. Their attention to detail is manifested in the quality of the job completed.
Building or renovating a home can be a stressful experience with emotions running high. Patrick’s personal calm nature and approach to communication has virtually eliminated stress from our experience. Not only is Patrick personally on site daily, he also communicates through whatever means you are comfortable with, for us that means regular texts including pictures, emails, phone calls and conference calls when more need to be included. Patrick will always provide all the information necessary to make the best informed decisions.
During our monthly visits to the job site, in all our interactions the subcontractors have all been courteous, responsive to questions and requests and go out of their way to ensure we are pleased with their performance and job. Even neighbors have commented on the cleanliness and maintenance of the job site and the subcontractors sensitivity to the neighboring community.
Although our home is not complete yet, we can highly recommend Patrick Widing Custom Home builders without hesitation. We feel our home has been well cared for and will truly be work of art with heart and soul in it, but also we can honestly say the process has been fun.
